So I've been running rampant round this site for a few months now, feverishly devouring art by the hundreds of pages and it still isn't enough. I don't know why. I was sad the other day because I realized that no matter how hard I try, I either lack the talent or the effort, or both to be the kind of artist that I admire so much. Then I was sad because I thought I had nothing to contribute, would never be a part of this community. Always on the outside looking in. And then it came to me. Ah-ha! I am an amateur photographer!! I've certainly never styled myself as such, but...I have some decent photos I could submit. This makes me a little happier. So here I am. We'll see how this goes.
